SYNOPSIS
Felix Streng was born without a leg in the heart of the South American forest to a German family. When he looks into the eyes of those who listen to his story, he explains everything as if it was normal, but it's far from it. Felix has an extraordinary story and his remarkable personality made him grow up with a dream: to become a runner. However, even winning a gold medal in the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics does not make life any easier, as the battle is a constant companion.
"Tempo" is a story about life, dreams, and the enduring challenges that one must face in his life.
Felix Streng is a distinguished German Paralympic athlete in the disciplines of 100m and long jump, known as the fastest one-legged man alive.
He was born in 1995 in Bolivia without a right foot and a portion of the lower shinbone. In 2001, his family relocated to Coburg, Germany with him. Currently residing in London.
Felix achieved gold with the German 4x100m relay team at the 2016 Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, setting a Paralympic record. Additionally, he secured two bronze medals in the 100m and long jump events. And finally in the 2020 Paralympics in Tokyo, Felix Streng sensationally won the gold medal in the 100m with a time of 10.76 seconds.
He possesses a strong personality and is an excellent speaker who knows how to share his story and is always open to sharing his experiences with people. He has the ability to analyse every aspect of his personal and professional life, offering listeners a wide range of insights through his deep and profound reflections about life.
